Timezone and Locale Checker

This tool shows the timezone, language, and regional formatting values that your browser exposes through the JavaScript Intl API. Everything runs locally, and no values are sent to BroHelp.me.

Browser-reported values come directly from your browser and system settings. Your language or timezone does not identify your country or physical location.

Timezone, calendar, and language settings

These values are reported by the browser. The resolved locale is what the browser actually uses, which can differ from the language you requested.

How This Converter Works

Shows the IANA timezone, local and UTC time, UTC offset, navigator.language and navigator.languages, the resolved locale, and the current calendar and numbering system. Values are browser-reported. Timezone or language does not identify a user location or country.

Formula or rule

timeZone = Intl.DateTimeFormat().resolvedOptions().timeZone; offset = (local time - UTC time) in minutes; local time is formatted with Intl.DateTimeFormat in the resolved timezone and locale.

Example

Input
Browser timezone Asia/Jerusalem, language en-US
Calculation
Asia/Jerusalem uses UTC+02:00 in winter and UTC+03:00 during daylight saving time, so the offset shown depends on the current date. The en-US locale typically uses the Gregorian calendar and Latin digits (latn).
Result
Asia/Jerusalem; UTC+03:00 (daylight saving time); Gregorian calendar; latn numbering
