How This Converter Works
Converts a six-digit hexadecimal RGB color, optionally prefixed with #, to hue, saturation, and value.
Formula or rule
Normalize RGB to [0,1]; V=max, S=(max-min)/max when max>0 (otherwise 0), and hue uses the same 60° sector rule as HSL.
